In our first session, we will start with brief introductions., then dive into the specific challenges you are facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
My orientation to counseling is based on cognitive-behavioral and humanistic theories of counseling, and I employ Rogerian, cognitive-behavioral, reality therapy, and motivational interviewing techniques, as well as positive psychology and body-mind interventions.
I have experience helping individuals overcome and calm their anxiety through use of combination of CBT, Solution Focused Therapy and other Body Mind Approaches.
