Hello! I’m a therapist with experience working across the lifespan—including children, adults, and elders—and prioritize supporting queer and gender nonconforming individuals in my practice. I’m trained in trauma-informed practices and have worked with clients navigating anxiety, depression, complex trauma, grief and loss, relational dynamics, and spiritual abuse and trauma. My approach is person-centered and collaborative, meaning we co-create a therapeutic space that honors your experiences, strengths, and goals.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a warm, inviting, and person-centered environment where you’ll be met with empathy and curiosity. We'll explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your goals, and start to envision the path forward together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is a commitment to moving at a pace that feels right for you and truly meeting you where you’re at. I take a person-centered approach, creating a supportive and collaborative space where your voice leads the process. Together, we’ll work toward your goals—both internal, like emotional healing and self-understanding, and external, like navigating life changes or improving relationships.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve individuals who are navigating life transitions, dealing with depression and/or anxiety, and processing trauma. I understand the unique challenges that come with these experiences and offer a supportive, affirming space where clients can explore their identities, process difficult emotions, and work towards greater emotional resilience. I am here to support you in building a life that aligns with your authentic self.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my clinical work, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize and challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, guiding them toward more constructive patterns. This structured, goal-focused approach is especially effective for treating issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

Gender-affirming therapy

I use gender affirming practices to support clients in exploring and affirming their gender identity in a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space. I help clients navigate the emotional, social, and medical aspects of their identity while honoring their lived experiences and individual goals.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients build psychological flexibility by accepting difficult thoughts and feelings while committing to actions aligned with their values. I support clients in developing mindfulness skills and living a more meaningful, authentic life despite internal challenges.

Trauma Informed Care

I use trauma-informed care to create a safe, empathetic space where clients can feel understood and supported as they process their past experiences. I approach each session with sensitivity to the impact of trauma, prioritizing empowerment, trust, and collaboration throughout the healing process.
