Through a holistic method, I help guide individuals through personal transformations. By addressing struggles such as anxiety, grief, depression, LGBTQ matters, life transitions, self-worth, and relationship difficulties, I encourages greater awareness, acceptance, and a fresh perspective to confront life’s challenges. I’ve seen and experienced how struggling with coping and communication affects both families and individuals. Seeing how my client’s growth has improved their relationships and performance at work inspires me to become a more effective therapist.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session is an opportunity to learn more about you and your situation. We will begin to talk about the issue that brought you to seek therapy and I will get to know you more as a person. We will briefly talk about different areas of your life to develop a treatment plan to address the core issue. We will practice an intervention or I will give you some material to look over and when we meet again we will discuss the results. All I ask is that you are in a comfortable place with limited distractions and bring an open mind.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I challenge myself to continue learning through both education and experience. I believe that growth is a balance between classroom and real-life. What good is a book about happiness if we can’t apply it? I do my best to “practice what I preach” and put these ideas into use in everyday experiences, such as driving during rush hour. I challenge myself, just as I encourage my clients, to be adventurous and open to change.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I believe that in order to help others, I must create a comfortable, honest, and nonjudgmental space. Feeling comfortable talking with me is key, and I’m here to support you. I believe that you are the expert on your own life and that you possess the power to change your circumstances. I believe in small changes, and that progress is measured by the positive changes in attitude, behaviors, and overall well-being.
