New to Grow
I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with five years of experience supporting individuals through different stages of life. I believe therapy should be a space where you can feel comfortable, understood, and free to be yourself. My approach is warm, genuine, and collaborative, with a focus on helping you better understand yourself, work through difficult emotions and experiences, and create meaningful changes in your life. I strive to meet each person where they are and provide support that feels personal to their needs and goals.
During our first session, my focus is getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. There's no pressure to share everything at once, we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We'll talk about what you've been experiencing, what you hope to get out of therapy, and begin identifying goals together. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and more comfortable about taking the next step. Our w
I bring warmth, patience, and genuine desire to understand each persons experience. I want my clients to feel comfortable being themselves and know they can show up exactly as they are. I'm supportive and nonjudgmental, while also willing to gently challenge clients when it can help them grow. I value building a strong connection with my clients and creating a space that feels safe, collaborative, and real.
My ideal client is someone who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or unsure of how to navigate what they're going through. They may be struggling with self-esteem, relationships, family dynamics, school or work stress, or adjusting changes in their life. I enjoy working with clients who want a supportive space to better understand themselves, process their emotions, and develop healthier ways of coping. You don't have to have everything figured out or even know exactly what you want from therapy, we can work through that together.
I use CBT to help understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors can influence one another. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, or other challenges and work on finding healthier ways to respond. I'll help you learn practical strategies you can use outside of session to manage difficult emotions, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and feel more confident navigating everyday situations.
I believe you know yourself and your experiences better than anyone else. I use a person-centered approach to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. Rather than telling you what you should do, I'll work alongside you to explore your experiences, recognize your strengths, and identify changes that feel meaningful to you.
I use a solution focused approach to help you recognize your strengths and build on what is already working in your life. Together, we'll identify the changes you'd like to make, set realistic goals, and focus on practical steps that can help you move forward. Rather than focusing only on the problem, we'll also explore your strengths, successes, and the resources you already have.
I use Motivational Interviewing to help you explore your thoughts and feelings about change without pressure or judgement. If you're feeling stuck, unsure, or conflicted about what you want, we'll work together to better understand what matters to you. My role is to support you in identifying your own motivation, strengths, and next steps so that the changes you make feel meaningful and realistic.
