Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker (LCSW) in the states of New Jersey and Georgia, with a master's degree from Monmouth University. With six years of experience, I am a dedicated and compassionate clinician who finds fulfillment and purpose in providing high quality care to individuals dealing with trauma, grief and loss, and anxiety. I specialized in providing tailored and effective therapeutic interventions to meet a client's unique needs in a safe space.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our initial session, we will begin with introductions and together we will explore the specific challenges you are experiencing. This will allow us to develop a customized treatment plan to address in your subsequent sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Over the past six years, my greatest strengths as a provider have been attentive listening, effective problem-solving, empathy, flexibility, relatability and maintaining a non-judgemental approach.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help clients identify how their irrational and negative thoughts impact their behavior and provide them with strategies to challenge and reframe those thoughts to improve their well-being.

Narrative

I employ Trauma Narrative Therapy to support survivors of trauma make sense of their traumatic experiences by guiding them through their painful memories. This process helps the client organize and process these memories, making them more manageable and reducing the intensity of difficult emotions such guilt, shame, helplessness, hopelessness, numbness, anger and sadness.

Compassion Focused

I incorporate compassion-focused therapy in my work with clients, as many tend to normalize self-criticism, harshness, and negative self-talk without realizing its impact on their mental health. This approach encourages clients to shift their negative self-perception by applying the same kindness and understanding they would offer to others in similar situations.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) is value-oriented approach that guides clients in aligning their thoughts and actions to their core values. When a clients thoughts and actions are not aligned with their values, can lead to internal conflict, guilt, shame, diminished self-esteem, a lack of personal fulfillment, which can ultimately impact their overall well-being and sense of purpose.

Christian Counseling

I have observed that incorporating a clients faith into their treatment goals significantly enhanced their mental and spiritual well-being. Clients have reported benefits such as gaining a greater sense of purpose and fulfillment, developing a deeper connection with God, and having the ability to use their faith as a coping mechanism, all of which contribute to improved mental health.
