I believe strongly that healing is possible when compassionate clinical care is combined with the truth of God's Holy Word. As a Christian minister, wife, grandmother, Licensed Therapist with over 19 years of clinical experience I'm passionate about assisting individuals, couples and families find spiritual healing, restoration and renewed purpose. My approach integrates Solution Focused Brief Therapy with biblical principles to create a safe, supportive environment to face life's challenges and spiritual attacks while strengthening your inner (wo)man. My goal is to help you discover resilience, restore healthy relationships and deepen your faith with God.
First session
The initial session is All about You! I provide you the opportunity to ask questions, share concerns to make the decision if you want to entrust me to walk alongside you on your therapeutic journey. As every person's journey is unique, finding the right clinician is most important. This first session is a trial, never a commitment unless you agree. Know that I hold hope in your ability to persevere, grow and change. I believe therapy is just a conversation that if successful, leads me out of a job. I provide faith-filled encouragement, prayer, biblical integration with clinical expertise to embrace your God given strengths given for the abundant life you were created to live. If I'm chosen, together we'll work to create the desired outcomes you want to achieve.
Strengths
Once your desired outcome is established, I guide our sessions along that line. My clinical role is to get clear on your language, pose questions that remind you of your past resilience and affirm your strength. So that your eyes open to solutions within yourself as You are coming to your own rescue!
Ideal clients
I work best with individuals who identify as Christians, are ready to have conversations about the areas of spiritual struggle in their lives. People that are willing to do the introspective work to achieve their desired outcomes. Individuals that are seeking God faithfully attending church regularly, a seemingly being a dutiful Christian yet struggling emotionally and mentally. I can help!

Solution-Focused Brief Treatment
We will have a conversation to craft a desired outcome for your presenting issue(s). I believe along side you that you are the author of your story no matter what’s happened in the past. I hold hope that you have exactly what it takes to allow change to manifest in distinctive differences from session to session. I’m rooting for you and will keep you on track to achieve your desired outcome for your future.
Psychoeducation
I use the Solution Focused Brief Therapy approach to see you in authority of your life. Out of the two of us, who knows you best? With that being said, it's my job to help you develop and achieve your desired outcome so that I work myself out of a job.
