Hi! I am a licensed therapist. I received my degree in 2000 and have been practicing for the past 25 years, with experience in substance abuse treatment for several years before that. My experience as a therapist includes using a variety of tools and interventions to help you re-frame your experience, and begin living your best imagined life. As a military veteran my experience in traveling and living in different countries around the world enables a broad spectrum of understanding for the broad spectrum of people i meet in therapy.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

They will feel at ease talking to me, and will have acquired at least one tool to use in dealing with the problem that is uppermost in their mind, and causing the most difficulties.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Probably my greatest strength is putting the other person at ease, developing rapport with them. Developing a safe space, particularly for those who have experienced trauma and are struggling to recover from this, is critical for the client to begin a journey, to take risks they would not otherwise take.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Adults with depression, anxiety, history of trauma. Adults who are within their first work experience.
