Hi there, I'm Julie. Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? I empower high-functioning women and men to overcome the burden of depression and anxiety. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. My counseling style is down to earth, compassionate, and caring combined with warmth and integrity. I believe in honesty and having an open mind. I believe that treating everyone with dignity and respect is a must, and will offer a nonjudgmental and understanding environment where people will feel safe to share their thoughts and feelings. My approach to therapy combines active listening, strength-based, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral theory. I will personalize our work together to meet your specific needs. I primarily use evidence based techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused counseling. I am here to help you establish goals and objectives to help you with current problems. Helping you to live your best life is part of my mission. I believe in meeting you where you are and helping you to get where you want to be. I look forward to helping you in any way I can! Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I use primarily CBT, but also employ the use of the following modalities: DBT, IFS, MI, EMDR, and Mindfulness.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is my ability to listen to what you are saying and hear your needs.
