New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and my approach is rooted in empathy, respect, trust-building and taking a non-judgemental approach. I provide support for those experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or currently feeling stuck and uncertain about the next step in life. Wherever you are on your journey, I’m here to walk alongside you and support you every step of the way.
The foundation of therapy starts with rapport building. In a first session you can expect us to focus on building trust with one another and moving at your own pace. Together we will focus on exploring what's bringing you into therapy and identifying goals.
What makes my work different is the way I show up with honesty, warmth, and genuine care. I’m not just here to give advice or check off boxes. I take the time to really get to know you and understand what you’re going through. I listen closely, and I meet you where you are, without judgment or pressure.
I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults as they navigate life’s challenges, heal from past wounds, and move toward becoming the best version of themselves. Taking the first step to talk with a therapist can feel uncomfortable—but it shouldn’t have to. Therapy should be a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable being your true self and sharing what’s on your mind and your current situation.
I use an eclectic approach in my work because I don’t believe one method fits everyone. Each person brings their own story, challenges, and strengths. By staying flexible, I’m able to adjust each session to meet your unique needs and goals. Depending on your goals and what you’re working through, I might use a strengths-based perspective to help you reconnect with what's already working in your life. This can be especially helpful for building confidence and a stronger sense of self. I also often bring in mindfulness techniques to help manage anxiety, stress, or feeling overwhelmed. The goal is to create space for you to feel more grounded and in control, both during our sessions and in your daily life.
I often use psychoeducation to help clients better understand what they’re going through and why. When you know how the brain and body respond to things like anxiety or stress, it can take away some of the fear and confusion. It also helps normalize your experience, reminding you that your reactions are often natural responses to what you’ve been through, not signs that something is "wrong" with you. My goal is to give you clear, useful information that helps you feel more in control and confident as you move through the healing process.
Going through life changes can be tough. In our sessions, I’m here to listen and support you without judgment. I offer encouragement and practical help to get through challenging times. Whether it’s a career change, relationship issues, or personal struggles, we’ll work together to build your coping skills and help you feel more steady and confident.
I believe everyone has strengths, even if they don’t always recognize them. In our work together, we’ll focus on what’s already working in your life and build from there. That might mean looking at how you’ve gotten through tough times before, the qualities that help you keep going, or the small wins that matter. We’ll use those strengths to help you move through challenges with more confidence and direction.
