I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 7 years of experience working with families and individuals of all ages. I work with my clients by empowering and challenging them to complete their goals and make positive change. I utilize an eclectic approach by using skills that best fit the needs of my clients. I have experience working with anxiety, stress, self-esteem, trauma, depression and grief.
In our first session, we will start with introductions and gather information about what brings you to therapy. We will work collaboratively to create a therapeutic plan that works towards positive change.

So far, Kari has been a great balance of warm and supportive while also asking questions to provoke growth and insight. She is skilled at reflecting back to validate and empathize with me, but also maintaining awareness of the bigger picture of what I share, expertly guiding me back on track when I lose my train of thought (which tbh is a lot.) Kari is a splendid balance of comfortable/conversational tone and structure that directs me towards the positive change I hope to see through therapy! :)
