I’m Carine Robert, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over 27 years of experience in medical and psychiatric care. I provide compassionate, evidence-based treatment for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and more—offering both therapy and medication management. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, creating a safe, culturally responsive space where clients feel supported and empowered. Flexible telepsychiatry services make care accessible and tailored to your lifestyle.
In our first session, we’ll focus on building a strong foundation for your care. I’ll take time to understand your concerns, gather relevant history, and explore your goals for treatment. This is a space for you to speak freely and feel heard—there’s no pressure to have everything figured out. We’ll also discuss potential treatment options, including therapy and medication if appropriate, and begin crafting a plan that feels right for you. As your needs evolve, so will our approach—always with collaboration and compassion at the center.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, cultural humility, and evidence-based care. I combine medication management with supportive and cognitive-behavioral therapies to create personalized treatment plans that evolve with each client’s needs. What sets my practice apart is my ability to simplify complex psychiatric concepts, foster trust through clear communication, and adapt care for diverse populations—including children, adolescents, and high-risk clients. I prioritize collaboration, education, and emotional safety, helping clients feel empowered and understood throughout their mental health journey.
I am best positioned to serve clients who want a safe, culturally responsive space to explore their mental health and build healthier patterns. I work with teens, young adults, and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions. My clients often come in feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin. Together, we slow things down, clarify what’s happening, and create a plan that feels manageable. I’m especially effective with clients who value compassion, clear communication, and a provider who truly listens.

Carine Robert was excellent. She asked thoughtful, thorough questions, listened carefully, and reflected my responses to me in a way that made me feel genuinely understood. I especially appreciated that she took an evidence-based approach and wanted additional evaluations completed before prescribing medication so that we can build the right long-term treatment plan. I left the session feeling heard, respected, and hopeful moving forward.

Very prepared for our session and had reviewed my history that I had given her. She made me feel very comfortable, and was great at listening to my goals while also providing solutions.
