Hello, my name is Erin Prindiville. I have been in the mental health field for 15 years. I've worked in many different settings and with different populations. I've always enjoyed working with people and learning new things daily. When I am not meeting with clients, I spend time with my family and friends, especially my 2 German Shepherds. Self-care is very important and I try to incorporate it in daily life.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session consists of a few different components such as addressing some administrative tasks and answering any questions that you may have in regards to paperwork, insurance, billing and payment, confidentiality, and scheduling. This session also focuses much on information gathering (your story and background), review of current situation/problem, treatment goals, and presence of any symptoms. Rapport building and recognizing that therapy is a process are important components to therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I implement a strength-based and mindfulness approach with a strong belief that change and personal growth are possible. Cognitive behavioral techniques are used to aid in self-exploration and addressing barriers to one's hopes and goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I do a lot of work with pre-teens/teenagers and adults who are battling increased anxiety, depression, past traumas, and life struggles. I want to help lessen the intensity and frequency of overwhelming emotions and thoughts.
