LMFT, 5 years of experience
New to Grow
What makes my story unique is that I’ve personally been in the client’s seat. It was through my own healing journey that I discovered my true purpose—to offer the same kind, compassionate support I once received during a challenging time in my life. I’m passionate about giving back in this way and hopeful that together, we can bring healing and growth not just to individuals, but to the wider community as well. I’m passionate about helping teens, parents, and individuals feel empowered, understood, and supported. With over five years of clinical experience in both private practice and school settings, I’ve worked with people from all walks of life. I specialize in supporting teens and individuals facing challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and emotional regulation. In our work together, clients can expect to set meaningful, personalized goals that support emotional growth, improve communication, and strengthen self-worth. Whether you're a teen building confidence, a parent navigating tough transitions, or an individual seeking clarity, we’ll focus on creating lasting change from the inside out. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected—both to yourself and those around you.
In our first session, I genuinely look forward to getting to know you. I understand that meeting someone new—especially in a therapeutic setting—can feel a bit nerve-wracking. To help ease into things, we’ll begin with some light, casual conversation. When you feel ready, I may gently ask questions like, “What brings you to therapy?” or “What are some things you enjoy doing?”—along with a few others to help guide our start. My priority is to create a warm, welcoming space where you feel safe, supported, and truly heard. From there, we’ll work together to create a personalized treatment plan that reflects your unique needs and goals.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my unique ability to truly understand what it feels like to be in your seat. With over 10 years of being supported and mentored by my own therapist, I bring the perspective of someone who has not only studied the work—but lived it. My journey from client to clinician allows me to offer deep empathy, authenticity, and a grounded understanding of what healing really takes. Clients often share that I’m easy to talk to and that they feel fully accepted, never judged. I strive to create a space where you can be your true self and feel genuinely supported.
My ideal client is someone who is ready to explore their inner world with honesty and courage. They may be seeking a stronger sense of self or purpose, and are motivated to make meaningful changes in areas of their life that no longer serve them. They're open to looking at their deeper emotions, including the more difficult or painful parts of their story, and are willing to speak their truth in a safe and supportive space. Ultimately, they are striving to feel more connected—to themselves, to others, and to a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.
I use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) in a gentle and supportive way. It can be especially helpful for people dealing with anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem. I help clients notice unhelpful thoughts and patterns, and together we explore healthier ways of thinking and coping. I always respect each person's pace and choices, making sure they feel heard, understood, and in control of their own growth.
I use ideas from attachment theory to help people understand how their early relationships—like with parents or caregivers—might still affect how they feel about themselves and connect with others today. Together, we explore these patterns in a safe and supportive space, so clients can build stronger relationships, feel more secure, and gain a better understanding of themselves.
As an experiential and person-centered therapist, I focus on creating a warm, supportive space where clients can explore their feelings and experiences at their own pace. I believe that real change happens through genuine connection, self-discovery, and emotional awareness. My role is to walk alongside clients as they connect more deeply with themselves and find their own path forward.
I use strength-based techniques to help clients recognize and build on their existing abilities, values, and inner resources. Rather than focusing only on problems, we highlight what's already working and what makes each person resilient. This approach supports confidence, hope, and a sense of empowerment throughout the therapy process.
