Hello! I'm Mimi and I'm glad that you are starting your journey to learn more about yourself and why you think and feel the way that you do. Your life may feel like it is overwhelmed by one obstacle after another. It could be due to family stress, work stress, relationship stress, financial stress, health and other personal concerns. My approach is person-centered and collaborative. My goal is to provide a safe, kind, and open environment so that you can build self-awareness while tackling the difficulties you are facing. I empower parents, children, adolescents, and professionals to overcome anxiety, guilt, shame, and depression through life transitions. I look forward to working together and seeing you evolve!
There will be immediate relief after our first session due to simply being able to release the tension that you have been holding on to. Our following sessions will be thought-provoking as we explore more deeply into each area of your life in which you would like to see progress.
I use evidence-based techniques in a person-centered approach. This means that you are already the expert on yourself and I am here to help you bring that knowledge to the forefront. I will use the techniques that best suit your situation.
I use my systemic lens to see the effects of the environment, the culture, and the people have on you. I work with children and adults with special needs, sexual trauma, and family issues. Parent and life coaching and self-esteem building are also some of the areas I am most passionate about.
