Nita Raut
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, constantly stressed, or like you’ve lost your sense of joy in everyday life, you’re not alone. Many of my clients come to me struggling to focus, manage their mood, or keep up with work and home responsibilities. I specialize in ADHD, bipolar disorder, and anxiety/depression among other mental health issues, and I provide convenient telehealth care for adults residing in North Carolina and Illinois so you can get support from the comfort of your own space. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I use a holistic, evidence-based approach. Together we’ll look at your whole life—sleep, routines, stress, relationships—not just symptoms. Sessions are collaborative and patient focused; I’ll explain options clearly, invite your questions, and partner with you to create an individualized treatment plan that works for you In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, gardening, admiring nature, which helps me bring a calm, grounded presence to our work together. If you’re ready to feel more emotionally regulated, rediscover joy, and be in control of your mental health, I’d be honored to work with you.
First session
During my first visit, I spend most of the time learning about your needs and conducting assessments. This is a time where you and I both decide whether this is a good fit for your mental health journey or not.
Strengths
I use holistic, compassionate as well as mutual decision-making approach to make treatment plans, while utilizing my family medicine as well as psychiatric mental health expertise. I accept most insurances and offer cash pay as well ($250.00 for initial and $ 100 .00 for follow up visits).
Ideal clients
I treat individuals 15 and above who are interested in utilizing medications for management of any psychiatric/mental health conditions. Being a family as well as Psychiatric mental health NP, I look beyond just mental health diagnosis to assess if any physical condition might be mimicking psychiatric health condition. I use mutual decision-making approach to make treatment plans, while staying within the parameters of safe and evidence based practice.
