I believe we all have the strength within us to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. I am here to help you develop confidence and skills to better manage your negative thinking patterns, distressing emotions and destructive behaviors. My goal is to support you in gaining a deeper understanding of yourself, reconnecting with your authentic self and building a life that is more aligned with your values. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, social anxiety, relationship issues & life transitions. I have a particular focus on helping individuals with emetophobia (fear of vomiting).
During our first session, my goal is to begin to get to know you, ensure you are comfortable and set a focus or goal of therapy. I will explain my therapy approach, what therapy looks like and answer any questions you have about the process. I would ask questions about what brings you to therapy and what you're hoping to get from therapy. Then we would slowly begin to talk about what you're going through. I'll ask questions about various areas of life, including relationships, job, living situation and your life journey.
My greatest strength is noticing your strengths. I fully listen to you and who you are with compassion, it's important to me that you feel seen and heard. I also help you find solutions and give you tools to embrace and build upon your authentic self.
Many of my clients come to me for help coping with anxiety whether from a recent break-up, life transition, chronic anxiety, from a long standing phobia and anything in between. I offer compassionate, solution focused therapy & approach therapy with a willingness to truly understand who you are and what you value. I utilize an integrative approach of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP) & Somatic.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you develop an understanding of how your thoughts, emotions and behaviors influence each other. I give you tools to help you understand where your negative thoughts are coming from, improve negative thinking patterns and change destructive behaviors.
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you develop a greater understanding of your values, who you are and what drives you, and tools to help accept and let go of negative thinking patterns to help you live a more meaningful life.
I use Solution Focused Therapy to help you explore and embrace your strengths and utilize your strengths to improve on your life. I help you shift your mindset from chronic negative thinking to realistic and positive thinking.
I utilize Somatic therapy to help you develop a deeper understanding of your mind-body connection, how emotions present in your body to help you be more present and in-tune with your whole self.

Natalie is a great listener that also provides very thought provoking questions. She also empowers me to take stock of what's going on within my body and what emotions come up. I have received great benefits in my life while working with her. I can calm down the judgmental and anxious voices in my head better, and can process my emotions better as well. Thank you so much!
