Hello, I’m Angel. Are you stepping into a new chapter of life, or trying to steady yourself after the end of a relationship? Do your daily priorities feel out of sync with your long-term goals? Maybe you’re carrying things you can’t easily talk about with friends or family. If any of that sounds familiar, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. My approach is straightforward and collaborative. We focus on what matters most to you, your values, your direction, and the kind of life you want to build. Together, we’ll work to bring clarity to the noise, strengthen your self-awareness, and help you move forward with confidence and purpose. If therapy is new to you, I understand it can feel like a big step. I aim to create a space that’s grounded, respectful, and judgment-free, where you can speak openly and work at a pace that feels right. If you think we’d be a good fit, I invite you to reach out.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll begin with a brief introduction and then explore the challenges you're currently facing. This conversation will help me better understand your needs and allow us to start creating a personalized plan that we can continue to build on together in future sessions.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My time in the military profoundly shaped who I am and strengthened my commitment to serving others. It ultimately led me to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Those experiences instilled discipline, resilience, and a deep respect for the challenges people carry. They also drive my dedication to creating a steady, supportive environment where clients can confront obstacles head-on and move forward stronger than before.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I’m passionate about providing individual therapy to adults, young adults, couples, veterans, military family members, and college students, offering compassionate support as they navigate life’s challenges.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge distorted beliefs, and develop healthier, more balanced ways of responding. CBT in my practice is practical, collaborative, and goal-oriented, focused on building tools clients can use in real life to create lasting change.
Couples Counseling
In couples counseling, I help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and better understand each other’s emotional needs. We identify unhealthy patterns, slow down reactive cycles, and develop healthier ways of responding to conflict. My approach is structured, balanced, and collaborative, creating a space where both partners feel heard while working toward practical, lasting change in the relationship.
Supportive
In supportive therapy, I provide a steady, nonjudgmental space where clients can process stress, life transitions, and emotional challenges. The focus is on strengthening coping skills, increasing resilience, and reinforcing existing strengths. My approach is compassionate and stabilizing, helping clients feel heard, supported, and more grounded as they navigate difficult situations.
