Hello! Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work, and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? I can guide you to manage anxiety and depression. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a whole-self approach, addressing your individual needs. We will also find the thoughts that interfere with you being at your best and ways to reframe them. You will find a caring, safe, and confidential space where you can share experiences, thoughts, and feelings at your own pace. You are the expert of you! Allow me to provide the space to become your best version.
Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know each other a little better. It will be a safe, non-judgmental environment in which we can share our expectations and hopes for treatment. I will review your intake forms, and we will determine if we want to proceed with this journey together.
I genuinely believe that listening with compassion is essential. In our conversations, you can feel safe and free from judgment. Together, we will gently explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and I’ll support you in finding your unique path to healing and recovery.
My practice is dedicated to assisting clients who are navigating the difficulties of anxiety, depression, and grief. I provide support and teach effective coping strategies designed to help individuals manage these emotional challenges more effectively. In the context of telehealth, it's important to recognize that there can be unique obstacles, such as communication barriers and the potential for feelings of isolation. As such, I believe the ideal client is someone who is not only highly motivated to make positive changes in their life but also possesses a sense of resilience that allows them to face these challenges head-on. Together, we work on developing personalized strategies that can empower them to find stability and peace amidst their struggles. Ultimately, my goal is to create a supportive environment where clients feel equipped to overcome their issues and thrive.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT helps a person identify how their understanding of life situations is contributing to their experience of depression. Together, we will review reactions, thought patters and errors in thinking or logic that cause you to come to conclusions that are not necessarily true and make you feel uncomfortable.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
My practice utilizes ACT alongside CBT and various therapeutic formats to help clients accept their circumstances and negative emotions as a normal part of life.
Grief Therapy
I use Grief Therapy to help clients navigate the complex emotions that accompany loss. I provide a safe space for clients to express their feelings, process their grief, and find healthy ways to cope.

This was only our first intake session, so it’s hard to speak of how much of a fit we will be. After this first session things look good and we’ll go from there.

I was unsure about our first talk, maybe some anxiety, and she immediately relieved any fears I had. I am certain that Dr. Zuniga offers me a good chance to move past those areas I both hide and avoid. It seems like I'm shining a light at a long, deep tunnel of avoidance.
