During our first visit, we will conduct a psychiatric evaluation to understand your symptoms, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, as well as your past medical, family, and social history. This evaluation, which may include blood work or other diagnostic testing, aims to determine the presence of a mental health disorder and the best course of treatment. Each follow-up visit typically involves a combination of medication management and brief solution focused therapy, tailored to your unique diagnosis. While our sessions' primary focus will be medication management, we will also explore if more extensive concurrent psychotherapy would be beneficial.
My commitment is to help you find the balance that may be missing in your life. I believe in a non-judgmental approach, careful listening, and working collaboratively to develop a treatment plan that is realistic, doable, and designed for your specific needs. Whether through medication, therapy, exercise, or other lifestyle changes, I am passionate about helping you find relief from depression, anxiety, past trauma, and life's ever-changing ups and downs.
