New to Grow
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality mental health care. I work with individuals and couples, offering a supportive and collaborative space where clients can explore challenges, build resilience, and move toward meaningful personal growth. My approach begins with a comprehensive assessment to better understand your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Together, we develop a personalized treatment plan with clear, measurable objectives, ensuring that our work is focused, structured, and effective. I utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help you develop practical coping skills, manage symptoms, and improve overall well-being. I have extensive experience working with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. I also support clients navigating anger management, grief and loss, relationship challenges, addiction, trauma and PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorder, and other complex mental health conditions.
In the first session, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. I will ask questions about your current concerns, background, and goals so we can begin to form a clear picture of your needs. We will also talk about what you hope to gain from therapy and discuss how I can support you. I will explain how the therapy process works, including structure, confidentiality, and what sessions may look like moving forward. You will have space to ask questions and share anything you feel is important. The first session is a starting point where we begin building comfort, clarity, and a plan for working together.
One of my greatest strengths as a clinician is my ability to combine clinical expertise with genuine compassion. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood, while also providing clear direction and practical tools for meaningful change. I take a structured, goal-oriented approach to therapy, helping clients move beyond insight alone and into measurable progress. By using evidence-based interventions, I support clients in building effective coping strategies, improving emotional regulation, and developing skills they can apply in their daily lives. Another key strength is my adaptability. I tailor each treatment plan to the individual, recognizing that no two clients or situations are the same. Whether working through anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, or major life transitions, I meet clients where they are and adjust my approach to best support their growth. Clients often appreciate my balance of warmth and accountability—I will support and encourage you, while also gently challenging unhelpful patterns so you can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience.
I am best positioned to serve clients who are experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, and challenges in interpersonal or intimate partner relationships. I work well with individuals who feel overwhelmed and want to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I support clients who are open to learning practical skills, improving communication, and building emotional regulation. I also work with clients who are motivated to gain insight, develop healthier coping strategies, and make meaningful changes in their daily lives and relationships.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help PT identify and understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I support PT in recognizing unhelpful thought patterns and work with them to develop more balanced and realistic ways of thinking. I also guide PT in practicing new coping skills and behaviors to improve emotional regulation and reduce distress. CBT is used in a structured and goal focused way to support lasting change.
