Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our initial session will entail reviewing essential paperwork regarding your rights as a client and confidentiality policies. Following the paperwork, we will spend time reviewing areas of your life, your current needs and concerns, and important information you wish to share. We will immediately begin to identify treatment strategies and ways to improve your mental well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having been practicing for over 14 years, I have a lot of experience and hands on knowledge. Each session is structured around the client's needs which will identify areas of growth and change. I work very hard to provide the best interventions and treatment to meet each client's needs. I believe every client has internal strengths and resilience that might be temporarily lost or hidden. Working together, we can connect and reunite you with those empowering components of your life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with young adults, individuals, couples, and families. Most of my experience has been with young adults (ages 10 and up) which is my specialty; however, I have extensive experience with older adults, families, and couples as well. I am constantly looking for ways to better myself by increasing my knowledge and skills through workshops, trainings, and individual experiences.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a type of therapy that helps people with mental and physical health challenges such as depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and chronic pain. CBT is an evidenced-based therapy that can assist with adapting, challenging, and changing one's mindset.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior (DBT) is a treatment that is specific to mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotion regulation. This treatment is evidence-based and effective for almost any mental health challenge.

Family Therapy

Working and supporting couples and families is essential as it is the foundation to many mental health issues and challenges. Each couple/family brings unique relationship dynamics that must be handled with care and an abundant amount of support!
