Hello! I am dual licensed as a Mental Health Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been practicing for over 14 years and feel more passionate about my position each day! I treat each client as a unique individual and tailor treatment to meet each individuals' needs. I hold a non-judgmental stance and embrace each of the needs presented by my clients!
Our initial session will entail reviewing essential paperwork regarding your rights as a client and confidentiality policies. Following the paperwork, we will spend time reviewing areas of your life, your current needs and concerns, and important information you wish to share. We will immediately begin to identify treatment strategies and ways to improve your mental well-being.
Having been practicing for over 14 years, I have a lot of experience and hands on knowledge. Each session is structured around the client's needs which will identify areas of growth and change. I work very hard to provide the best interventions and treatment to meet each client's needs. I believe every client has internal strengths and resilience that might be temporarily lost or hidden. Working together, we can connect and reunite you with those empowering components of your life.
I work with young adults, individuals, couples, and families. Most of my experience has been with young adults (ages 10 and up) which is my specialty; however, I have extensive experience with older adults, families, and couples as well. I am constantly looking for ways to better myself by increasing my knowledge and skills through workshops, trainings, and individual experiences.
