Welcome to my virtual counseling practice! My name is Natalie, and I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) based in sunny Florida. With five years of clinical experience, I am committed to supporting adult individuals dealing with anxiety (generalized or specific), mild depression, OCD, and adjustment issues (including relationships, college/career, recent medical diagnosis, etc.). In our initial session, we’ll introduce ourselves, and I’ll actively listen as you describe your specific symptoms and experiences. We’ll explore your treatment goals—what you hope to achieve through therapy—and discuss any questions or concerns you might have. Lastly, we’ll collaboratively outline a tentative individualized treatment plan. This plan will be flexible, adapting as we progress and as your needs evolve.
Having worked across diverse settings—in-home, academic institutions, intensive outpatient programs, and partial hospitalization programs—I bring a wealth of knowledge to our sessions (e.g., identifying the core issue, providing psycho-education to empower you to understand your mental health, etc.). As we navigate the complexities of life, I’m here to provide compassionate guidance and empower you to effectively help yourself. You’ll learn how to handle challenges and make informed choices.
I find fulfillment in working with young adult patients who are genuinely committed to, and actively engaged in, the journey of self-exploration, growth, and healing. I thrive with those who are open to receiving feedback and eager to learn, and apply, practical coping skills. Whether it’s addressing anxiety (generalized or specific), mild depression (no history of, or current, self-harming urges or active suicide ideation), or adjustment issues (relationships, college/career, or grappling with a medical diagnosis), I feel privileged to guide them toward resilience and self-discovery.

I draw from a toolkit of evidence-based therapies, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). This approach is tailored to honor your specific symptoms of anxiety (i.e., anxiety, phobias, OCD). I will provide psycho-education on anxiety to help you understand the core issue of anxiety disorders and teach you how to effectively accept the uncertainty that comes with being exposed to your triggers.
