Thank you for being here! I'm Lindsay Shine, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker devoted to helping you achieve transformational healing and radical acceptance in your life. My goal is to empower you to rebuild self-esteem, develop coping strategies, and cultivate a balanced and deeply fulfilling life. My work aims to take a collaborative treatment approach in helping you embark on this journey of genuine healing and personal development. In doing this, we will work together to help you in the development of goals that are most meaningful for you and your life. I will guide you through this process every step of the way.
In our initial meeting, my primary focus will be to understand your unique experiences and goals. This session is a collaborative exploration, where we’ll work together to build a foundation of trust and mutual respect. The first time that we have the opportunity to meet, we will get to know one another, explore your hopes and goals for therapy, develop an understanding of your history and experiences, transparently discuss the process, establish safety and comfort, and create a collaborative treatment plan.
As a therapist, my greatest strengths lie in my ability to create a deeply supportive and empathetic environment, combined with a collaborative approach to therapy. These manifest in my practice by my ability to authentically connect with my clients and approach every unique situation with curiosity. My training and expertise in trauma-informed care means that, in addition to my compassionate approach, I also have a heightened awareness of how past experiences may impact the present moment. I feel that I am skilled in adapting my approach to best suit the evolving needs of every individual client I serve.

Whether you’re dealing with past trauma, current challenges, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
In my work, I utilize a combination of various treatment modalities, tailored to the individual needs of my clients. I believe that every client is unique and deserves their very own treatment approach based on presenting concerns.
I integrate DBT skills into my practice to support clients in developing emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. Whether we're working on emotion regulation or navigating complex relational patterns, DBT skills provide practical tools that clients can immediately apply in daily life.
I incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed approaches to help clients explore and work with their internal parts. This modality supports clients in understanding the protective roles of different parts, healing wounded exiles, and fostering a compassionate relationship with the Self. IFS is particularly effective in addressing trauma, emotional regulation, self-worth, and relational dynamics. I often integrate IFS with other modalities like DBT, CBT, and mindfulness-based practices to support holistic healing.
