(she/her)
A little bit about me, I am Casey Albrizio, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida, specializing in helping young adults and adolescents overcome challenging obstacles and build the foundation for a positive future. I have had experience in helping others navigate depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, family conflict, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder/Attention Deficit Disorder. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. Please let me know if you have any questions. Let's work together!
During the first session I like to get to know my clients on a personal level and address their reasons for seeking treatment. Once we have gotten to know each other, we will go over goals or expectations for therapy. This will act as a gauge to measure progress and make sure that we are making the most out of every session.
My biggest strength is meeting you where you are at in your story, through understanding and compassion. I truly believe that change comes from within and cannot be forced by external sources. During our sessions, I will help you recognize and understand the connection between your thoughts and feelings, allowing you the opportunity to make any necessary changes to grow.
My ideal clients are college students and young adults who are navigating the beautiful, often overwhelming transition into independence. You might look like you have it all together on the outside, but on the inside, you are quietly battling anxiety, depression, or a harsh inner critic that chips away at your self-esteem. Lately, life feels like a lot to carry. You might be struggling with school-related pressures, feeling stuck in your direction and looking for career counseling, or trying to untangle complex family troubles and past trauma that keep showing up in your present life. You want to make changes, but right now, you are running low on the coping skills and problem-solving tools needed to break through the burnout.
