WE ALL HAVE A STORY...... "Owning our story can be hard but, not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky, but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy-the experience that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light"- Brene Brown. I provide a safe space for you to share your story and together we can develop long lasting solutions. I draw on several treatment modalities (including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy) to allow you to further develop your strengths and help you meet all of your treatment plan goals at a speed that works best for you. I'm also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) who specializes in processing and healing from various traumas (sexual, emotional, physical and military/combat). Overall, I help you to see that managing the stressor is more important than just managing the stress as it will allow you to cope with anything that comes your way.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely normal to feel a mix of emotions before your first session. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, and judgement-free environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your story at your pace. During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another. I’ll ask questions about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, your personal history, and what you hope to accomplish. This isn’t an interrogation-it’s a conversation designed to help me understand your experiences, your strengths and the challenges you’re facing. We’ll also discuss what has and hasn’t worked for you in the past, identify patterns that may be contributing to your current struggle and begin exploring the goals that are most important to you. Together we’ll create a treatment plan that is tailored to your unique needs, values and desired outcomes. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I believe therapy is most effective when you feel heard, respected , and actively involved in the process. I’ll offer guidance evidenced-based strategies, and thoughtful feedback while encouraging you to gain insight and develop the skills needed to create lasting change. There is no expectation that you have everything figured out before you begin. You don’t have to know exactly what to say or where to start-that’s what I’m here for. Whether you’re seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, we’ll work together to better understand what’s keeping you from the life you want to live. By the end of our first session, you’ll have a clearer understanding of how we can work together, what our focus will be moving forward, and the next steps in your therapeutic journey. My hope is that you’ll leave leave feeling heard, supported, and encouraged, with confidence that meaningful change is possible.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment and Solution-Focused Therapy interventions. Motivational Interviewing is also used in my practice to assess what drives each person to work toward self-improvement. I personalize the interventions based on each individual
My strengths as a therapist are compassion, unbiased and having a passion to assist individuals to overcome life's hurdles and become the best version of themselves. I have been in my profession for over 15 years and have gained a lot of insight on what is often underneath the mental pain many people endure. I see each person's character before their problems and prioritize the therapeutic relationship in order to confront clients in a way that is non-threatening but collaborative and focused on growth.
My ideal client is someone who knows life can feel better but isn’t sure how to get there. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, low self-worth or patterns that keep repeating despite their best efforts. Many have spent years putting others first, avoiding difficult emotions, or feeling disconnected from themselves. I believe healing begins by understanding the root of the problem-not just managing the symptoms. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and direct, blending evidence-based strategies with genuine support and accountability. Together, we’ll build practical tools, strengthen your confidence, improve your relationships and help you create lasting change.

My first session with her today was really good and very friendly, very inviting straight to the point. I felt very confident that she's going to help me with my trauma and issues. Felt a sense of peace talking to her which is really good

Tracey is an awesome therapist. She knows exactly what to ask to challenge you in the right ways. I always feel better after my sessions with her.

My first session felt like I was talking to my best friend about how my day was going. I felt so comfortable and heard... as in actually taking notes and taking in EVERYTHING I was telling her... It has been a while since I felt like that with a therapist. I stopped therapy a while ago because I never thought I could find a good fit... but now... now I can't wait to book my next appointment... and cannot wait to experience true emotional, professional, and personal growth.
