Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Missouri, with a second License in Illinois. I received my Masters from the University of St Louis and have been practicing for 31 years. I help people of all ages struggling with emotional regulation, the management of symptoms of depression or anxiety, stress, life transitions, ADHD, anger management, parenting, and burnout to become the best versions of themselves. I incorporate research based techniques such as CBT and Positive Intelligence combined with 20 years of practice in Shamanism and certification as a Ho' Oponopono practitioner.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first few sessions, my main goal is to get to know you and understand your perspective and goals as much as possible. The better I understand you, the better I can offer suggestions to help you achieve your goals. I promise to bring compassion, curiosity, courage, clarity, creativity, and commitment to help you find the success you are seeking. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with individuals of all ages since 1992, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress. I am a client centered therapist, meaning, you are driving the bus, I help navigate you to where you want to be. I feel my greatest strengths as a therapist may be the ability to provide an environment of unconditional positive regard. As a certified Ho' Oponopono practitioner I continually clean for any conflictual situation that crosses my path, this amplifies the work we do together. As a social worker I am a holistic, and eclectic therapist, meaning, I am at ease working with biophysical, emotional, mental, cultural, social or spiritual issues. I open mindedly think outside the box. I adhere the strict code of ethics put forth by the NASW.
