Hi, I'm Hailey. I have been a social worker for 9 years. In the past nine years I have gained invaluable clinical experience in a multitude of settings including disaster response, crisis support services in emergency rooms, the Department of Veteran Affairs, and correctional mental health. Through these experiences I have learned that what every person wants is to feel seen, heard, and understood. I hope to provide my clients with a space where they can explore their personal goals and struggles, and learn tools that help them reach their goals.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Clients can expect to complete an intake where we get to know each other while also determining the clients goals and how we can best reach them together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I approach each client with unconditional positive regard and a non-judgmental stance. I want my clients to always know and feel that my goal is to support and encourage them.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with people of all walks of life. I have a special interest in working with people who have symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD and C-PTSD. Codepency and family conflict are other areas that I enjoy helping clients navigate. I am an LGBTQ+ friendly provider.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is considered the gold standard for psychotherapeutic practice as it is one of the most widely researched therapeutic modalities. I was trained in CBT in 2017 while in graduate school and have continued to use CBT in daily clinical practice with clients. I have also completed multiple CBT trainings to continue to hone my clinical practice skills.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I completed DBT skills training in 2019 in order to increase my clinical knowledge and provide better care to clients dealing with eating disorders, substance abuse, gambling, self-harming behavior, and other behavioral challenges. DBT continues to be seen as the standard of treatment for the behaviors I have mentioned above. DBT is also useful for the treatment of stress management, depression and anxiety.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I have been using mindfulness based therapeutic interventions (MBTI) in my therapeutic practice since I was introduced to these principals while completing clinical training at the Department of Veteran Affairs. While training at the VA I helped facilitate mindfulness groups with veterans and got to see the benefits of mindfulness in real-time.

Trauma Informed Care

While in graduate school in 2017, I attended a trauma informed care conference where we participated in multiple trainings related to delivering trauma informed care. I believe in any setting where a person is receiving care from a provider, it is the providers duty to provide trauma informed care to clients.
