Walker, MSW, LCSW, a licensed psychotherapist providing remote mental health therapy in Florida and New Jersey. I provide solution-focused, trauma-informed care for individuals. I engage in solution focused therapy and trauma informed care. Most of the work happens outside of therapy and I like to ensure my clients have reflection and skills to use to improve outcomes and goals.
I provide solution-focused, trauma-informed care for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and PTSD. Services are available to children, adolescents, and adults in New Jersey and Florida. I am LGBTQIA-affirming and offer Emotional Support Animal (ESA) evaluations and letters when clinically appropriate. Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop psychological flexibility by fostering acceptance, mindfulness, and values-driven action. My goal is to support clients in reducing struggle with difficult thoughts and emotions while living more authentically and meaningfully.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My goal is to support lasting change by building healthier coping strategies and problem-solving skills.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use Mindfulness-Based Therapy to help clients increase present-moment awareness, reduce stress, and develop healthier responses to thoughts and emotions. My goal is to support self-regulation, acceptance, and overall emotional well-being.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help clients process traumatic experiences through psychoeducation, coping skills, and cognitive reframing. My goal is to reduce trauma-related distress while fostering resilience, safety, and hope.

Latoya is a warm, authentic, and open-minded therapist. I came into therapy feeling reserved and slightly apprehensive, but I found myself opening up to her rather quickly because she is so easy to talk to. She is solution-oriented and direct in a way that feels supportive, never pushy, and she allows you the space to draw your own conclusions. I truly value her approach and the progress I’ve made working with her.
