The first session is focused on getting to know you, building a therapeutic alliance, and helping you identify your goals. I am dedicated to creating safe, inclusive spaces where you feel heard and understood. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, focusing on helping you navigate life’s challenges and find effective solutions.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In therapy, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients explore the connection between their thoughts, emotional responses, and behaviors. By identifying and challenging unhelpful or distorted thinking patterns, we work together to understand how these thoughts influence mood and behavior. Through this process, clients develop more adaptive ways of thinking and coping, which can reduce distress and improve overall functioning. CBT provides practical tools that empower clients to manage symptoms and create meaningful change in their daily lives.

Narrative

In therapy, I use Narrative Therapy to help clients explore the stories they tell about themselves, their challenges, and their identities. This approach views individuals as the authors of their own lives, with the power to reshape narratives that may be rooted in pain, trauma, or limiting beliefs. Together, we examine how these stories have been influenced by relationships, culture, and experiences, and identify ways to highlight resilience, strength, and values that may have been overshadowed. By re-authoring these narratives, clients can reclaim their voice, separate themselves from problems, and create new, empowering paths forward.

Attachment-based

In therapy, I use an attachment-based approach to help clients understand how early relational experiences may be influencing their current relationships, emotional responses, and patterns of connection. This model focuses on identifying attachment styles and unmet needs that can show up as insecurity, fear of abandonment, difficulty with trust, or challenges with emotional intimacy. Together, we explore the roots of these patterns and create a safe space for healing, emotional regulation, and the development of healthier, more secure connections. This approach can be especially helpful for individuals seeking to improve romantic, familial, or interpersonal relationships by fostering greater self-awareness and relational resilience.
