Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, NCC, LPC, based in Georgia, United States. I received my Masters from Georgia Professional School of Psychology, Argosy University and have been practicing for over 9 years. I am a Licensed in Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. I’m looking forward to our work together. It’s an incredible joy and honor to walk with you and to guide you on the healing journey you have set out on. Working together there is a lot of transformation that can happen in your life. I have effectively helped many people and have specialized training to do so. Growth can be difficult and sometimes things get worse before they get better. The outcome of therapy or coaching is largely dependent on your willingness and commitment to the process. Your first step towards your journey can be here, take it.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first session, clients can expect a focused conversation aimed at getting to know them, understanding their concerns, establishing clear expectations for therapy, and building rapport to determine if there's a good fit for working together; this includes discussing their background, current challenges, previous therapy experiences, and potential goals for treatment while feeling welcomed and comfortable in a safe environment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with individuals by offering support and guidance to navigate challenges and improve their lives, driven by the intrinsic reward of witnessing positive transformations and the profound impact one can make on someone's well-being; essentially, the ability to create a safe space for people to work through difficult emotions and achieve personal growth is what motivates me as a therapist to continue in this field.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with women dealing with variety issues from anxiety, Behavioral Issues, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality, Chronic Pain, Coping Skills, Depression, IVF, Parenting, sickle cell/ Bone Marrow Transplant, Diabetes, Self-esteem, Stress, Substance Use, and more. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about life transitions.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to identify and modify negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to mental health challenges. The goal is to help individuals develop more realistic and positive thinking styles, leading to improved emotions and behaviors. CBT treatment plans typically include strategies like cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and exposure therapy, often in a structured and goal-oriented manner.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a comprehensive treatment program that can be incorporated into a treatment plan to help individuals develop skills to manage intense emotions, reduce problematic behaviors, and improve overall well-being.
