There comes a time when we want to make a positive change in our lives - and sometimes we need support from someone outside ourselves. I honor your courage in the uncertainty of change, and am here to support you. Together we can navigate your core beliefs and patterns, shift that which no longer serves you, and uncover your innate capacity for healing. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, fear, loneliness, loss, transition, doubt, relationship challenges, I provide an empowering compassionate space for you to gain insight and work through these difficult challenges.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session is an intake appointment and is an opportunity to meet and see if we work well together. I'll ask questions about what brings you to therapy, and am happy to answer any questions you may have about my approach in therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My approach is holistic and integrative, warm and collaborative, direct yet gentle. My practice is trauma informed, client-centered, strength based. My frameworks include: mindfulness, somatics, CBT, ecopsychology, EMDR, and attachment-based focus.

My treatment methods

Somatic

My approach is based in the body and body awareness, and we use this at the level you feel comfortable with. My masters studies were in Somatic Psychotherapy, and I have additional training in a body-based approach called Somatic Experiencing.

Psychodynamic

My masters was a psychodynamic Somatic Psychotherapy program, and my approach to therapy is rooted in a psychodynamic perspective that our past experiences and unconscious mind strongly shape our current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

In my internship years, I studied mindfulness based therapies and the incredibly powerful positive impact of using mindfulness based approaches to increase emotional regulation and promote a sense of ease and wellbeing.
