Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, my goal is to hear from you and learn more about what brings you to start therapy. I ask general questions in order to learn more about you including questions about current symptoms. With information from our first session, my hope is to start formulating goals and plan for treatment.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am very open minded, non-judgmental, empathic, and kind. I also believe that I have an ability to intuitively tailor my therapeutic approach to best meet my client's needs.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I believe in taking a collaborative approach to therapy and meeting my clients where they are at to start the healing and recovery process.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In my practice, I utilize a client-centered therapeutic approach that prioritizes empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. Therapy is guided by the client’s unique experiences, values, and goals, allowing them to take an active role in the therapeutic process. By providing a safe, nonjudgmental environment, clients are supported in exploring their thoughts and emotions openly and at their own pace. This approach fosters self-awareness, strengthens self-trust, and empowers clients to identify solutions that align with their personal growth and well-being. Client-centered therapy serves as a foundation for building a strong therapeutic alliance and promoting meaningful, client-driven change.
