Accepting new clients for depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and psychosis. Same-week appointments available. I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years of experience in mental health care across inpatient, outpatient, and correctional settings. I provide both in-person and virtual appointments, offering comprehensive medication management and supportive psychiatric care. My focus includes treating depression, anxiety disorders, mood instability, psychotic disorders, and substance use concerns such as alcohol dependence. For ADHD, I utilize a non-stimulant, evidence-based treatment approach tailored to each individual’s needs. I integrate clinical assessment tools, structured screening measures (PHQ-9, GAD-7, MDQ), and pharmacogenomic testing such as GeneSight to support personalized treatment planning. My goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care that is both accessible and individualized.
Your first visit is a comprehensive evaluation focused on understanding your symptoms, history, and treatment goals. We will work together to develop a clear, structured plan that outlines next steps, treatment options, and expectations for follow-up. I prioritize clear communication so you understand your diagnosis, treatment options, and the reasoning behind recommendations. Follow-up frequency is individualized and discussed during the initial visit to support consistency and progress. Subsequent visits focus on medication management, symptom tracking, and ongoing adjustments to ensure treatment remains effective and aligned with your goals.
I bring a structured, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to psychiatric care. My clinical strengths include managing complex mood disorders, anxiety, psychosis, and substance use concerns, with a focus on stabilization and long-term improvement. I emphasize patient education, shared decision-making, and the use of validated screening tools to guide care. I also incorporate pharmacogenomic testing when appropriate to help refine medication selection. Clients often appreciate my direct but supportive communication style and my focus on helping them understand their treatment plan clearly and realistically.
I work best with adolescents and adults who are seeking a structured, evidence-based approach to mental health care. Many of my clients experience anxiety, mood instability, ADHD symptoms, or difficulty finding effective medication regimens. I am especially suited for individuals open to a comprehensive evaluation process and a stepwise treatment approach rather than quick fixes. My goal is to help clients build stability through thoughtful medication management and consistent follow-up.

In the two short visits I had with her, she was late each session and then was very short, cold, and would cut me off mid-sentence to rush through the appointment. She would miss vital information and questions of mine because of her rude behavior. I did not feel like it was a warm, safe environment for me to receive the best help I could.

Definitely a phenomenal woman she spoke so wonderfully and didn’t make me feel small. I loved how she actually listens and then gives solutions to the problem at hand.
