(she/her)
Hello and welcome! Do you find yourself overwhelmed with all of life's demands? Are you feeling stressed with a new major life transition? Balancing work and family life can be challenging when you find yourself repeating the same patterns day after day. Therapy isn't just about tackling problems; it's a transformative process to self discovery and empowerment. I'm Erika, a Licensed and Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) in California dedicated to empowering individuals through compassionate, client-centered care. I work with individuals struggling with anxiety, life transitions, and stress. I am here to help you navigate life's challenges with warmth and compassion. With gentle support and understanding, I love to empower my clients to find healthy ways to cope with their stress. I have worked with women, children, and adolescents since 2011 and have been practicing as a therapist for the last 9 years. I have experience working with foster youth and school based mental health. Together, we can work collaboratively to create positive changes in your life, and growth so that you can become the best version of yourself.
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow up sessions. If you are experiencing suicidal or homicidal thoughts, then in-person treatment is more appropriate than telehealth. If you need immediate support, dial 988 or 911.
My communication style is calm, down-to-earth, and non-judgmental. I bring authenticity, lived experience, and a natural ability to connect with clients, which helps create a safe and supportive space for healing. Together, we’ll explore tools and strategies that honor your unique needs, strengths, and experiences so you can move toward greater balance and well-being.
I work best with adults who are struggling with work and life balance, anxiety, stress, and life transitions. My clients are motivated to improve their lives but they do not know where to start. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about the future.
