Geneva Rieu
I have over 15 years of experience in the field of public child welfare. In this time, I have worked with people in the worst moments of their lives. These experiences have helped shape my approach to individual work. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, being with family and keeping physically active.
First session
The first session is about rapport building with a lot of information exchange that might appear like small talk.
Strengths
I am realistic but gracious, life is hard enough, we need more listeners and empowerment; my practice reflects personal commitment to health, fitness and our connections to nature
Ideal clients
I love working millennial parents struggling to adapt to todays societal norms, professionals who need assistance with motivation/coaching; individuals looking to make "next steps" but struggling to put pieces together; couples who have trouble finding the words to ask for help or to express when they are overwhelmed, couples who struggle with talking about past traumas or using their traumas as a barrier to a successful relationship.
Treatment methods
Strength-Based
most people are so heavily focused on the bad stuff happening, they do not recognize the positive about the people, places, events involved.
