I enjoy working with a diverse range of clients who face various mental health challenges. My clients are motivated to improve but often lack the tools necessary to make their goals a reality. They frequently feel stuck, overwhelmed, and anxious about their mental well-being.
I use therapeutic technique to identify and change negative or irrational thought patterns of individuals. I use CBT techniques by having individuals recognize self-defeating thoughts and replacing them with more balanced and realistic ones, ultimately aiming to improve emotional well-being and behavioral activation.
My experience with Motivational interviewing (MI) is a collaborative conversation style designed to strengthen an individual 's own motivation and commitment to change. I use MI to help individuals focuses on resolving ambivalence and building self-efficacy. Examples of MI techniques I use includes using open-ended questions, affirmations, reflective listening, and summaries to guide the individual towards change.
My experience with Mindfulness therapy is helping individuals cultivate awareness of the present moment without judgment, using techniques like meditation and breathing exercises. I use MBT to improve individual's mental well-being by promoting non-reactive observation of thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations. This approach is often used to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and to foster a greater sense of self-awareness and acceptance.
