I'm a licensed therapist who works with adults who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck--often while carrying a lot for others. I help clients gain clarity, build healthier boundaries, and develop practical tools to manage stress, improve relationships, and reconnect with themselves. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and strength-based, and I integrate faith-informed care when desired to support both emotional healing and personal growth.
During the first session, we'll focus on getting to know one another and creating a comfortable, supportive space. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you'd like to focus on, and any questions or concerns you may have. I'll also take time to understand your goals, what has or hasn't worked for you in the past, and what you need from therapy moving forward--so our work together feels collaborative, intentional, and aligned with you.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is the ability to combine clinical expertise with real-life experience and deep empathy. I've done my own intentional healing work, which allows me to meet clients with authenticity, compassion, and understanding rather than judgement. My approach is transparent and collaborative--I'm willing to be challenged, and I also gently challenge clients when growth requires it. Clients often appreciate the balance of empathy and accountability in our work, as well as the safe space I create for honest reflection, meaningful change, and sustainable personal growth.
I work well with clients who are thoughtful, intentional, and serious about improving their quality of life. They may feel overwhelmed, burned out, or stuck, but they understand that meaningful change takes effort, honesty, and consistency. They value a collaborative therapeutic relationship and are willing to engage in self-reflection and practical work to create sustainable growth and emotional healing.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge beliefs that no longer serve you, and develop practical tools to shift your responses in everyday situations. CBT in my practice is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on helping you feel more empowered in your daily life--not "fixing" you.
Interpersonal
Interpersonal Therapy focuses on how relationships, communication patterns, and life transitions impact emotional well-being. In our work, we'll explore relational dynamics, boundaries, grief, role changes, and conflict in a supportive structured way. My approach helps clients strengthen communication skills, deepen self-awareness in relationships, and feel more connected and understood.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
SFBT emphasizes your strengths and what's already working--rather than staying stuck in the problem. I help clients clarify goals, identify small but meaningful changes, and build momentum toward the life they want. Sessions are practical, forward-focused, and designed to help you see progress without feeling overwhelmed.
Christian Counseling
In faith-based/Christian Counseling, I integrate Christian principles and biblical wisdom with evidence-based therapeutic practices when clients desire this approach. Sessions may include exploring faith, prayer, scripture, and spiritual identity as sources of healing, clarity, and resilience. This approach honors both emotional wellness and spiritual growth while respecting each client's personal relationship with God.
