WELOME to therapy! I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California. Since 2017 I had the opportunity to work with various populations from children to older adults. I use different interventions (i.e. CBT, strengths-based perspective, and mindfulness) to help support your healing process with a warm and active listening approach. I strive to make sure my sessions have a safe and judgement-free environment, where people are comfortable to share anything. Together, we'll explore your thoughts, emotions and behaviors to establish positive coping skills and help you get through any hardships you are facing.
During our first session, my focus will be on getting to know you. I want to know the underlying reasons why you are seeking therapy at this point in your life which will help us set mutual expectations and goals to strive for.
As a therapist, my greatest strengths include active listening, building rapport and problem solving. I truly believe my ability to empathize with my clients allows them to open up to me as soon as we start our sessions.
I love to work with individuals who are seeking to gain coping skills to help gain self-confidence and overcome negative thinking they may be experiencing.
Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) is a useful treatment modality that helps open the discussion on underlying issues of self-doubt and one's thought process that can interfere with meeting one's goals. We will use CBT to help reframe negative thinking and achieve emotional well-being.
