New to Grow
I enjoy working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and with a wide array of presenting difficulties. I am person-centered and assist individuals with working towards their own personal goals. I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups to assist with the achievement of these goals. While I feel comfortable addressing any issue, I am always willing to refer to another provider if needed. I am integrative in my approach to counseling and will use the interventions that will be most effective to address each difficulty that is presented. I have training in play therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and a wide array of other orientations. I have worked as a Social Worker, a Mobile Crisis Worker, an Intensive In-Home Team member and team lead, and an Outpatient Counselor. I have worked with sexual offenders and survivors, domestic violence offenders and survivors, substance abusers and their family members, individuals, couples, families, and groups.
Your first session gives us the opportunity to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. It’s normal to feel nervous—therapy is a process we’ll build together over time. We’ll move at your pace, one step at a time, and I’ll be here to guide you throughout.
I prioritize clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening and will give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences. If we’re working through something challenging, you can expect me to be calm and patient.
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, trauma, depression, and self-esteem challenges. Together, we’ll build coping skills and create a personalized plan for growth that feels empowering and achievable. I see therapy as a partnership. Together, we’ll set goals that matter to you—whether that’s improving relationships, building self-esteem, or pursuing personal growth. As you gain new insights, we’ll adapt your plan to stay meaningful and supportive as you move toward where you want to be.
