My name is Iliana Escandon Morillon and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have experience working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. I enjoy helping my clients challenge and overcome anxiety, depression and other adjustments in their lives. It takes incredible courage to reach out for help and my goal is to provide a welcoming environment that help clients make positive changes to reach individualized goals.
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I enjoy providing a safe environment full of empathy and empowerment to help my client challenge issues and make strides towards goals. I approach each client holistically and actively identify individual strengths, needs and expectations of their time in counseling. Through a collaborative effort with my clients, I have helped individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression and challenging life's obstacles.
I love working with individuals who are trying to navigate life changes. Whether that is parenthood, career, loss or other adjustments. I enjoy helping clients build skills to navigate challenges.
During sessions, I will use eclectic approach which includes cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy and other evidence-based approaches. Treatment plans and therapy approaches are individualized for each client to provide a welcoming environment full of empathy and opportunity for personal empowerment.
