I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in working with teens, young adults and new parents who are struggling with anxiety, depression and adjustment issues. I use evidence-based treatments to help you or your loved one manage symptoms. I help my younger clients work through the many trials and adjustments that come with growing up, and I work with young adults who are experiencing periods of transition and who often describe themselves as stressed out and overwhelmed. I help new and expecting mothers & fathers who are struggling with a perinatal mood disorder, or simply need support while adjusting to parenthood. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, or for your loved one, I’m here to help you through these difficult times and empower you with therapeutic tools that will last you a lifetime. I work with clients experiencing a variety of issues including: Anxiety Depression & suicidal ideation Adjustment issues Family conflict Low self-esteem Relationship issues Grief & Loss Self-harm behaviors Drug use/abuse Bullying Trauma Together we’ll explore what brought you to therapy in the first place, but we’ll also go beyond that. You’ll learn new ways to understand and solve your problems and develop healthy coping mechanisms so that you’ll be equipped to care for your mental well-being in the long term.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first session with me, clients can expect to have an open and supportive conversation where we’ll start by discussing what brought them to therapy. We'll explore their current struggles, goals, and any relevant background information to help me understand their unique situation. I’ll work to create a comfortable, non-judgmental space, and we’ll begin identifying the most important areas to focus on in therapy. Together, we’ll develop a plan for moving forward and discuss how we can work together to build effective coping strategies, improve emotional well-being, and create lasting change. The first session is all about getting to know each other and setting the foundation for our work together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider are my deep understanding and empathy for the unique challenges that teens, young adults, and new parents face. I take a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy, creating a safe space where my clients feel heard and supported. I’m skilled in using evidence-based treatments like CBT, DBT, and relational therapy, which I tailor to each client’s individual needs. This allows me to help them build long-term coping skills and emotional resilience. Most importantly, I focus on empowering my clients, helping them feel confident in managing their mental health and making meaningful, lasting changes.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I also specialize in supporting new and expecting parents who are struggling with perinatal mood disorders or simply adjusting to the demands of parenthood. My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my private practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, especially when it comes to anxiety. Through CBT, I guide clients in identifying and challenging negative or irrational thoughts that fuel their anxiety, replacing them with more realistic and balanced thinking. We also work on developing practical coping skills, such as relaxation techniques and exposure exercises, to gradually reduce anxiety triggers and increase their confidence in managing anxious feelings.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

In my private practice, I integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients manage intense emotions, especially those related to anxiety. DBT emphasizes building skills in four key areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. By using DBT, I support clients in staying present during anxious moments, tolerating emotional discomfort without reacting impulsively, and improving their relationships through healthier communication. This approach helps clients develop a balanced mindset and more effective strategies for managing anxiety in both everyday situations and high-stress scenarios.

Relational

In my private practice, I use Relational Therapy to help clients explore the impact of their relationships on their anxiety. This approach emphasizes the importance of understanding how past and current relationships—whether with family, friends, or romantic partners—shape their emotional experiences. We work together to identify patterns in communication, attachment, and emotional needs, helping clients develop healthier, more supportive connections. By improving these relational dynamics, clients can reduce anxiety, build stronger emotional resilience, and feel more secure in their relationships, leading to a greater sense of overall well-being.
