I most enjoy helping adults manage stress and anxiety often related to work, relationships, life transitions, and past experiences. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first session, we will chat to get to know each other a bit and for me to hear more about what you are hoping to get out of therapy. I leave open space for you to share whatever you feel is relevant but also ask some questions to better understand you and to get an idea of where we can start working towards your goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe my greatest strength as a provider is my very down-to-earth approach. Therapy can sometimes feel a little scary. I believe I do a good job working with clients to make the space comfortable and I try really hard to make the steps towards your goals simple and clear. That does not mean it will always be easy but I am good at being a support for you each step of the way.

I have utilized CBT since starting my private practice 5 years ago. I basically believe that how we think about things can make a big difference in how we feel. I work with clients to explore different ways of thinking about their lives.
