I am dual-licensed in Mental Health & Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy in the State of Florida only. I currently work with adult patients (21+) only. I practice under my business name: ahdezctherapist, LLC. Please do not set an appointment with me if you are in any form of crisis or harmful situation, have thoughts to harm yourself or others, contact 9 1 1 or 9 8 8 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or go to your nearest emergency room. I do not specialize in the treatment of severe depression. If you are seeking medication management, you need to meet with a doctor, psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP). I take two to three weekends off per month (Friday evening through Monday morning). After 6 pm and and on weekends, I do not read nor answer any messages. During our first meeting, I will need to check your ID/Driver's License which is required by the Licensing Board as part of the Patient Verification Policy Compliance. Please notify me if you need to start your session a few minutes later. If I am able, I will try to accommodate the meeting time. If you do not attend your session 15 minutes after the scheduled time, I will log off and your account will be charged a $30 no-show fee. Please note, after 48 hours from your scheduled appointment, I will not be able to cancel or modify your appointment, you will need to reach out the the Grow Therapy team to reset or cancel your appointment. Before inviting someone to your session, please let me know. I would need you to sign and send back a Release of Information for that person and that person also needs to sign and send back a consent for treatment and telehealth. I will not be able to include your guest in your sessions until I have received all the necessary releases and consent for treatment, no minor children. I only treat adults 21 and older.
My counseling style is caring, interactive and proactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion. My therapeutic approach is eclectic; it combines different modalities and philosophies to fit the need of the person or couple receiving counseling. I believe in mutual collaboration between the patient and the therapist when developing and setting treatment goals. I like teaching patients how to gain confidence, self-awareness, and coping skills they could use for life. I also teach how to communicate needs to others as well as to use assertive language communication, boundary setting, and conflict resolutions techniques. As of now, I can only provide therapeutic support to members residing in the State of Florida. I currently work only with adults 21 and older.

I practice under my business name: ahdezctherapist, LLC. I have 22 years of experience providing counseling to patients and families in individual, couple, and group sessions. I provide support for clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, ADHD, relationships, and parenting education (do not treat minors). I help patients develop effective coping skills to manage their mental and emotional health. Please note I do not offer and cannot provide: FMLA, STD, ESA, court appearances, CPS, evaluations, or immigration documentations. My first appointment with Aimee was pretty nice, she is very knoledgeable, took plenty of time to listened my concerns and she talked to me a lot in regard on how threat my anxiety problem.
