Chances are that if you're reading this, you are looking to make a change. I believe in our ability to achieve positive change in our lives when we commit to the process with patience and perseverance. Sometimes we just need help navigating through the obstacles. My name is Danielle Hadar, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from Florida. As a bicultural therapist, I enjoy working with people of diverse ethnic backgrounds, cultures, genders, and sexual orientations. My approach to therapy is founded on the belief that we all face challenges sometimes, and if given the tools, compassion and awareness, we can become empowered to navigate through them. I am passionate about this work because I’ve seen the powerful ways people have used therapy to bring change to their lives. I have over 9 years of experience in the field, during which I have worked with children and adult clients dealing with a wide range of circumstances including trauma, depression, anxiety and panic attacks, psychosis, matters regarding gender identity and sexual orientation, and more. I specialize in adults dealing with life transitions, relationship concerns, depression, anxiety, and have worked extensively with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. Life’s challenges are an opportunity to transform ourselves and our circumstances, and I believe that seeking therapy shows strength and courage. My therapeutic style is non-judgmental, gentle, collaborative, and honest. My goal in therapy is to cultivate a healing space in which each of my clients feels safe, important, and cared for so that they can achieve their desired results.
I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness approaches in my work. By using an integrative approach and combining each of these modalities, I'm able to help facilitate my clients becoming the best versions of themselves by tailoring my therapeutic approach to fit the unique needs of each client and couple.
I implement therapy from a multicultural lens, one from which I value and appreciate the history, values, cultures, religions, experiences, and lifestyles of my clients. I view awareness of each of these parts of us as essential to the healing process.
