I am a licensed mental health counselor and coach practicing in North Carolina and Georgia with over a decade of experience helping individuals and groups navigate life’s challenges. I love empowering individuals to be the best versions of themselves by providing a supportive, collaborative space for growth and self-discovery. I specialize in working with professionals at various stages of their careers, women’s issues, maternal mental health, codependency, and workplace wellness. Using evidence-based approaches, I help clients build confidence, set healthy boundaries, manage stress, and create meaningful change in their personal and professional lives.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider include my ability to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. I take a compassionate and collaborative approach, tailoring evidence-based techniques to each client’s unique needs. My expertise in trauma, relationship challenges, workplace wellness, and maternal mental health allows me to help clients navigate complex emotions and life transitions with confidence. I am skilled at helping individuals develop healthy boundaries, improve self-esteem, and manage anxiety and depression. Ultimately, my strength lies in guiding clients toward self-discovery, resilience, and meaningful, lasting change.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best positioned to serve professionals at various stages of their careers who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or anxious about their personal and professional growth. My clients are eager to improve but may lack the tools to create meaningful change. I also specialize in supporting women navigating maternal mental health challenges, codependency, workplace wellness, family conflict, anxiety, and depression. Many of my clients experience depression due to high stress, burnout, self-doubt, or past trauma, and I help them develop coping strategies to regain a sense of control and fulfillment. Additionally, I work with individuals facing relationship challenges, including unhealthy dynamics, boundary-setting difficulties, and communication struggles. I provide guidance for those going through separation or divorce, helping them process grief, rebuild confidence, and establish a new sense of identity and stability. Whether adjusting to life transitions, improving self-esteem, or strengthening relationships, I offer a supportive and empowering space to help clients develop resilience, manage stress, and create meaningful change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. My approach includes cognitive restructuring, behavioral interventions, and skill-building techniques tailored to each client’s needs. I integrate psychoeducation, goal-setting, and homework assignments to reinforce progress. By focusing on practical strategies, I empower clients to develop healthier coping mechanisms and long-term resilience.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore ambivalence and build intrinsic motivation for change. Through open-ended questions, reflective listening, and affirmations, I create a supportive space for clients to identify their values and goals. By emphasizing autonomy and self-efficacy, I guide clients toward making meaningful, self-directed changes.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I incorporate Culturally Sensitive Therapy by acknowledging and respecting each client’s cultural background, values, and experiences. I strive to create a safe, inclusive environment by integrating culturally relevant perspectives, addressing potential biases, and adapting therapeutic approaches to align with each client’s unique worldview and identity.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In Person-Centered Therapy, I provide a nonjudgmental, empathetic space where clients feel heard and valued. By fostering unconditional positive regard, empathy, and genuineness, I support clients in their self-exploration and personal growth. I trust in their capacity for self-directed healing and facilitate a collaborative, client-led therapeutic process.
