Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a Psycho-Social intervention that reduces symptoms of various mental health conditions, primarily depression and anxiety disorders. CBT focuses on challenging and changing cognitive distortions, such as thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes. I have more than ten years' experience with the CBT method, which involves: 1. Identifying troubling situations or conditions with clients. 2. Making the client become aware of these troubling thoughts, emotions and beliefs. 3. Working with clients to identify negative or inaccurate thoughts. 4. Finally reshaping negative or inaccurate thoughts. CBT is mostly used in my practice for managing some disorders as Depression and Anxiety.
