Hi! I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker based in Ohio. I have earned my Bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies and my Masters in Social Work. Having worked in the social work field for the past 17 years, I have encountered many individuals struggling with difficult situations and helped them with making meaningful and lasting changes in their lives.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session together I will get to know you and obtain some information about the problem or difficulty you are experiencing. This information will be used as we work together to create a plan for therapy that makes you feel comfortable and confident.

Working together to learn how to decrease worries, handle crisis, address feeling overwhelmed or just wanting to learn how to manage thoughts and emotions, I enjoy helping others learn new skills and identify tools they can use to succeed.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy focuses on the connection between our thoughts, feelings and behavior. Understanding the connection between these, and learning new coping skills, can lead us to make meaningful changes in our lives.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
The use of Mindfulness-Based Therapy is used to help reduce the stress we are experiencing and bring awareness to our thoughts and feelings. It utilizes skills focused on both relaxation and awareness of the present moment to help us be kinder to ourselves and our emotions.
Strength-Based
Strength-Based Therapy will utilize your innate strengths, resiliency and resourcefulness to learn how to cope with difficult situations. It is a forward focused method focusing on finding solutions to problems, making decisions and improving your wellbeing.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
A direct method of therapy focused on a current issue or problem. Identifying the aspects to problem troubling you and coming up with a concrete plan of action can help alleviate your stress about the problem. Within a few sessions, we can work together to identify barriers and solutions that you feel comfortable and confident putting into practice in your life.
