Eliminating stigma and delivering compassionate, quality economical mental health care is our goal. Cultivating Mind is a remote/telehealth mental health service that offers psychiatric diagnosis and medication management for adult patients. Medication management is the process of overseeing the medications prescribed for a patient to ensure they are taken properly and achieving their planned therapeutic outcome. This care works hand in hand with therapy. Cultivating Mind LLC will work with your current therapist, (if you don't have one we can send you a list for review) to ensure the best continuum of care. Cultivating Mind LLC doesn't prescribe DEA medications( Ex. ativan, xanax or Stimulates-Ritalin) Outside of stimulates there are other non-stimulant alternatives available. It will be our pleasure to go over those alternatives with you. "Everyone has a story, you just don't know it" Tiffany Watson, PMHNP

First session

The initial assessment last 60 mins, f/u last 30 mins. Assessments thorough, with explanations of your diagnosis along with patients understanding of the treatment regimen.

Strengths

My biggest strengths as a provider, is my ability to connect with patients. I'm able to help a patient understand why they may have a diagnosis, which may alleviate stigmas associated with noncompliance of the medication management plan we develop. I offer Spravato treatment in person.

Ideal clients

Patients across the life span can be seen in person or via telehealth. Patients that may have treatment resistant depression that need Spravato, have that option while being seen in person.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my psychiatric practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change negative thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress and unhelpful behaviors. Through structured sessions, we work on recognizing distorted thinking, developing healthier coping strategies, and practicing behavioral changes that improve overall mental well-being. CBT is evidence-based and particularly effective for anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders, empowering clients to take an active role in their mental health.
