(she/her)
Hi! I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) based in Houston, TX. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Washington State University and my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Chamberlain University. With over 12 years of experience in mental health care, I help individuals navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, and trauma through holistic, personalized care, offering therapy and medication management to support healing and growth.
In our first session, we’ll start by getting to know each other and talking about what brought you here. I’ll do a thorough mental health evaluation to understand your challenges and goals. This session is a chance to share your story and begin creating a plan tailored to your needs.
With over 12 years of experience in mental health care, I bring a deep understanding of how to provide compassionate, personalized support. My greatest strengths are my ability to create a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to share their stories and my holistic approach to care. I’m skilled at identifying the root causes of challenges and developing tailored plans that combine therapy and medication management to help clients achieve meaningful progress.
I love working with individuals who are navigating major life transitions or grappling with challenges like anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns. My clients are often driven and insightful but feel overwhelmed or stuck as they try to make sense of their emotions and experiences. They are eager to find clarity, build resilience, and take meaningful steps toward healing and personal growth. Together, we work to uncover patterns, develop coping strategies, and create a path toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
As a first-year psychodynamic psychotherapy student, I focus on helping people understand how their thoughts, feelings, and past experiences shape their current lives. In my practice, I create a safe and supportive space where patients can talk openly. Together, we look at patterns in their behavior and relationships to uncover deeper feelings and conflicts. This helps patients gain new understanding and start making positive changes in their lives. My goal is to support healing and growth in a way that feels safe and respectful for each person.
In my practice, I offer supportive psychotherapy to help patients feel heard, understood, and supported. This approach focuses on building a trusting relationship where patients can openly share their thoughts and emotions. I work with patients to strengthen their coping skills, improve self-esteem, and address current challenges in their lives. Together, we focus on practical strategies and emotional support to help them navigate difficulties and achieve a sense of stability and well-being. My goal is to provide a safe, encouraging space for patients to feel empowered and move forward at their own pace.
