My name is Stacey Wrightsman! I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC-MHSP) in Tennessee. Reaching out for help is a brave step. Perhaps you are looking to talk to someone but you are unsure about what it is you are wanting from therapy. If that describes how you feel, I want you to know that this is perfectly okay. We can work together to create a list of goals for your therapy experience. I specialize in helping people with concerns about their mood, adjusting to life changes, addiction, and more.
Please be advised that I see patients every other week as I also work rotations at a psychiatric hospital.
Taking the first step to begin or continue your self-care journey is honorable. My name is Alisha Darsey, and I am licensed in the states of Tennessee and Georgia to practice clinical social work. I would love the opportunity to meet you "where you are" and serve you by utilizing the skills I have gained over my career of 33 years. Processing thoughts and feelings, developing positive coping skills and celebrating victories is my speciality. The therapeutic relationship is paramount to achieving life-changing goals. By identifying thoughts and feelings, behavior can change. This form of therapy, referred to as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is my primary modality. I have worked with children, adolescents and adults specifically in the following areas: anxiety, depression, trauma and long-term mental health illnesses. My work in the realm of trauma has primarily been focused on sexual and emotional abuse. I have also done extensive work with caregivers. Some additional modalities that I utilize are Acceptance-Commitment Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Health Therapy, Relationship-Based Care and Psychotherapy.
Greetings,
My name is Norman Shaffer and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Tennessee. I have been practicing as a social worker for over a decade now. I enjoy working with adults who are actively seeking a positive change in their life. I like to partner with clients and guide them towards better outcomes and a healthier balance in life.
I have one main intention for all clients with whom I work and that is to reduce suffering. Suffering takes a lot of forms, from struggling with discernment, overwhelm, thoughts that cycle and cycle and cycle throughout our minds...grief of something we've had or something we want to have -- and so much more.
My approach to treatment is down-to-earth, nonjudgmental, and compassionate; and is leveraged with a sense of practicality and directiveness.
I am a therapist who enjoys building a relationship with my clients by finding how to best understand each other. We may not share a background, but practicing curiosity from a position of genuine interest helps me better understand the people around me and form rapid connections. I believe knowledge and language have power so that the way we think and the information we use to think help us view what we think as changeable and adjust it to be more helpful.
Hi, I’m Dr. Susan Robinson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I hold a non-clinical PhD in General Psychology with an emphasis in Performance, and I specialize in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individuals overcome challenges and enhance their well-being. I have worked in the dementia field for the past five years and see proof on a daily basis that people with cognitive impairments do not decline in a vacuum- the burden of this illness is felt by all of those around them. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in dementia care, I am dedicated to supporting individuals living with dementia and the care partners who walk alongside them. My work focuses on helping individuals navigate the overwhelming moments that often follow a diagnosis—when the path forward is unclear, and grief begins in ways that many don't expect or fully understand.
My goal is to be a steady, informed presence for those who are feeling lost, overwhelmed, or unsure where to turn next. You don't have to go through this alone—I'm here to help you find clarity, resilience, and moments of peace along the journey.
My passion is helping individuals transform people-pleasing and or perfectionist behaviors, cope with complex relationships, process trauma, build emotional resilience, strengthen self-esteem and develop healthier relationships. I have successfully treated many people who struggle with over-thinking, over-pleasing and over-functioning in relationships often putting others' needs and feelings above their own. I also have training in treating individuals who struggle in relationships with difficult personalities. My goal is to help people transform confusion, self-doubt and chaos to perspective, wisdom and growth.

Hello, and welcome. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Union University. I work primarily with adults who feel overwhelmed by stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, or persistent emotional patterns they don’t fully understand.
Many of my clients come to therapy wondering, “Why do I keep reacting this way?” or “Why does this feel harder for me than it should?” Together, we explore the underlying patterns that shape your thoughts, emotions, and responses. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in helping you gain insight while also building practical tools you can use in everyday life.
Life can feel chaotic at times. My goal is to help you create more stability, clarity, and calm — not by changing who you are, but by helping you better understand yourself and respond with intention rather than overwhelm.
If you’re ready to begin that process, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
Minds are designed for thinking and it is human nature to make connections with others. I am dedicated to helping a client slow down to contemplate, explore, and become self-aware of their own needs, personal well-being, interests, strengths and how to relate to others. I will help clients create spaces and opportunities to practice emotional regulation, explore difficult situations, provide therapy for previous history of trauma and loss, and begin or continue a healing journey.
I’m a licensed therapist with over a decade of clinical experience, helping individuals and families navigate complex and often painful life circumstances. I understand how these experiences impact not just individuals, but entire family systems—and I approach this work with both clinical depth and practical insight.
I offer therapy in both English and Spanish, and I strive to create a space where clients feel understood, respected, and supported as they work toward healing and clarity.

Hello, I'm Rebecca, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor. I believe that therapy should be a place where you can truly be yourself—a space where you can come as you are with no fear of judgment. My practice is built on the philosophy that genuine connection and compassionate support are the cornerstones of lasting change. I work with those feeling overwhelmed by "big feelings"—emotions that often manifest as high anxiety, social withdrawal, or intense reactivity. My approach moves beyond simply managing symptoms; I focus on building true emotional resilience. By helping my clients identify and understand their internal landscape, I empower them to move from a place of overwhelm to one of confidence and self-advocacy.
Recognizing that healthy development doesn't happen in a vacuum, I am equally passionate about supporting the parents navigating these transitions. I work closely with caregivers who feel exhausted, overstretched, or as if they are "walking on eggshells" at home. I provide a grounded space to troubleshoot the complexities of parenting, helping families trade daily chaos for deeper, more resilient connections.
If you are looking for a collaborative partner to help your family find its footing, I invite you to reach out so we can begin this journey together.

I have been treating clients through talk therapy for the past 25 years. I have worked with end of life issues through hospice, with children and adolescents struggling with learning and mental health issues, and most recently with adults who seek help to relieve symptoms of mood, anxiety and trauma disorders. I try to move at the clients pace and have been told that I am a good listener, and that people find relief in sharing their life stories with me.
